And breathe out...
The decision about the street will not now be taken next week. It will be taken early next year. Why it is taking so long to come to the inevitable conclusion of 'no' is frankly beyond everyone on this side of the equation, but the evidence is that Camden are utterly obsessed with finding ways to let this vandalism go ahead.
Why else would the fact that the developer's don't even own all of the site that they propose to develop by considered "not material" ("STOP MAKING IT MORE DIFFICULT FOR US"), that it is in fact owned by Camden themselves ("NOW YOU'RE MAKING ME ANGRY") or why would Camden's Highways Department decide that, in order to let the development proceed "[LGS] should be upgraded with a temporary bituminous surface" ("WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO THIS FOR TWO YEARS NOW") or even that the risk assessment of "Impact of construction vehicle colliding with residents of LGS... minor" (Not if it's me, it isn't!)
There's more, much more (which might come in a tinsell'd out flurry later) but I shall leave you for now with the aside that also in a recent internal report "The numbers of pedestrians in the street are "on the high side although more recently LGS appears to have become something of a tourist attraction". SO IT'S YOUR FAULT!
